Gifts for a King - Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh

Two years ago I was asked to create a hand out for my church congregation to take home from our Christmas party and this is what I came up with. I LOVE them, and so did the families they were gifted to.

These are the gifts the three Wise Men brought to give to Jesus when they finally found him - Gold, Frankincense, & Myrrh.

Our family tradition is to read the story of the Savior's Birth from Luke on Christmas Eve, and we're going to start adding in the story of the Wise Men from Matthew as well.

Each little glass vial is topped with a cork. They aren't sealed, so you can open them and smell the fragrant myrrh and frankincense. They come wrapped in a clear cello bag with a little bit of padding. You can set these next to your Nativity or slip an ornament hook between the glass vial and thread and hang them individually on your Christmas tree.
